anyway to boost GPS?

possibly stupid idea...

If I used a GLONASS/GPS booster for the iPad connected to solo, would it help the SOLO GPS in anyway or does that work standalone?

Garmin GLO GPS for iOS & Android
I have that exact device and use it on my laptop for navigation software. Not even sure how you would connect it to Solo as it's USB and requires drivers as I see it.

appreciate the quick replies. understood it was a long shot, wasn't sure if there was any scenario whereby the devices would draw on the GPS of the iOS device.

appreciate the advice and support to a newbie.

The only thing that might help is using the follow me modes, where the tablet/device is relaying its gps location to the controller.

I think you're a little confused on what a GPS is. How would a GPS device that isn't attached to the Solo be of any use to the solo?? It would be feeding it the position of the controller, and not doing anything for the location of the Solo.

here is a quick/easy way to get better GPS reception.
