New Solo, New GoPro...GoPro freezing up on Tower

Solo at 2.4.1-6 (latest)
GoPro Hero4 Black 3.0
iOS App 2.4.0 (latest)
Tower 3.2.1 (latest)
Tower Beta 4.0.0 Beta 4 (latest)


First flights today.

Worked great on iOS 10 with Solo App. All recordings worked fine.

But on Tower (and Tower Beta) the GoPro would FREEZE after anywhere 30 seconds to a couple minutes. This happened every time I used Tower or Tower Beta.

1--This is a proven SD card, and never had a problem with GoPro recordings on iOS App.
2--I've used these same versions of Tower with a different Solo and it always worked.

Any ideas on what component would be causing this?

Was that while shooting video or stills? I notice on mine the video is fine. If I shoot stills it locks up for a period of time. Turns out, it's shooting a bunch of pics and it takes time to do that. After about 30 to 60 pics it unlocks and I can switch it back to video and it works fine.
I think there is a setting to set the number of pics but I haven't really looked for it yet.
This is in both stills and burst mode.

Hmm, I haven't seen that one yet. Have you opened a case with 3dr?
I'm using Android. Not sure if that makes a difference.

The freezing only happens when I use Tower or Tower Beta, which is on Android.

No freezing when using iOS 3DR Solo app.
