Drone Aviator hood for Solo App tablet

The biggest issue I've had piloting my Solo is sun glare off the tablet screen...and that screen is critical to mission accomplishment and safe ops.
So I just got my Hoodman Aviator hood for my Samsung Galaxy Tab 8".
Check out the pics.
Can't wait to check it out on the next sunny day in Galveston.

I had given those serious thought...but you cannot control the Solo with those down unless they have a forward looking camera....so I went for a hood with finger insertability. Let me know how your vr system works and that will be my next purchase. Do they have hdmi in?

Its two pieces...13 inches long using the extender. About 6 inches deep with just the base piece. You can stick your fingers thru a elastic slot in the bottom...rather slick. 13 inches is about as close as my eyes can get to the screen using my gradient magnification glasses.

The straps hold onto the tablet while its clamped to the controller. Go to hoodman's website...he has pics. I'll load some tomorrow while I use it.
