What's Going on at 3DR?

Just ordered a Solo GPS Shield V2 from 3DR's website. Waited a couple days to see if it had ship, but when the website continued to show the shipping status as 'processing", I sent 3dr an email. Below is the response. Keep in mind I paid $10+ to ship by FedEx. In any case, the response is unbelievable.

Your order was shipped on November 1st via USPS. Unfortunately, there is no tracking information since it will be shipped ground. It usually takes from 2-3 weeks to arrive, or less.

In the past they always claimed FedEx Shipping but always actually shipped USPS. Only thing different now is they charge for the poor shipping - which always took 2 weeks or more.

2-3 weeks is them covering their ass and making up for late shipments. It may or may not have shipped, but you will get it. By postal mail.

I received 3 of the shields in separate US Postal shipments (standard letter envelopes). Get the mRobotics gps upgrade if you really want to avoid the gps issues with Solo's stock gps.
