Thanks for that buddy. Your video gave me confidence in using the 5.4mm for this setup. Looks good. No shake evident. I have the same lens with the supermount and the internal filters. Btw, did you send in your Gopro for the de-pink option? Colors look ok without edits.

Yes I did, in a sense. I actually got the GoPro from them. I was in the market for a new GoPro and was looking at the lense and filters and depinking. They do excellent work. So in the end it was the best option.

I still have the slightest flash of pink in the corners under bright light at times. I shoot in 4K and crop that out.

FYI, PEAU is VERY knowledgeable (and in my experience helpful) also. They have taught me a lot about getting results from GoPro and the specifics of how to do it. Lots of ways to go, but I recommend them highly, and will go with a second idenitcal (backup) unit from them.

What's with the Phantom 3 case and batteries in the video? Some people (Facebook) are suggesting you may have cheated.

I have both. (though actually that one is borrowed) I flew both. This footage was Solo only.

No goggles, just FPV on the tablet.. I made my own hood (some time back) from a couple plastic folders and gaffers tape. I was LOS to the Solo, but using the tablet for framing video shots.

Yes. I was on the dock. Boats were in the lake in front of me. 1/8 mile or so out. LOS for Solo. Tablet W/sun shade for shot framing

Ok, so LOS is just shooting with Solo through or off a tablet when Solo is not in sight?

No, at least not for me. I was on a dock on a lake at about 2 ft high. Depth perception to a boat 1/8th mile away is really poor. So... I am watching the Solo to get out there close, and then using the tablet (with sun shade... which is important) to frame the shot. This is the case even on the close in stuff, as I want to make sure I know where the thing is, and also the shot. I usually end up holding the controller up in the air without thinking about it, so the two views (tablet and Solo) are next to each other, which saves moving my head up and down a lot. I will say this. Black is a better color to spot for this than white

It is taken in a few hours with 3 batteries, on a Hero 4 Black, with a PEAU 5.44 lens, ND8 filter, Circular Polarizer, and was Shot in 4K W, then rendered down to 1080. Didn't spend any time in post other than cutting down clips, centering a couple really off shots, and using a template for adding transitions, titles, and stock music. No level/color correction or stabilization.

Solo has balanced props and gel mod on the main board, and GPS, with only FPVLR antenna added.

A few Cable Cams, a Selfie (Kayak), and some manual work, but I forgot my Nexus (dough...) so I had no GPS on the (borrowed) tablet and couldn't do Follow Me. Nothing really cool to orbit, and didn't do anything in Tower other than notifications.

Raining now, and just off vacation so a bit swamped, but will try to find good location/subjects for Orbit, Follow Me, and possibly Tower next time, then spend a little time in post.

The question is when... *sigh*

Actually... my P3P just... got back from China today (after 8 weeks) and so it would be an even match.... Solo's are Tough....

The reality is we are both socked in. Winter came in with a bluster over the weekend, and looks like it is here for a while Looks like I will be flying next in a couple weeks when I go to PHX
