I borrowed this great little 5.8ghz camera from my Eachine X73, to see how it would perform w/Solo. To my surprise it worked pretty good. Obviously I just threw it on top of the gps cover & this Solo flies w/out gimbal. And I also just did a quick 360* test run out, about 300 feet between 10 & 15 ft up. Gonna do some more testing & crazy stuff as soon as this rain clears out.

What were you using to view the video feed?
Im using the Headplay. I think its the version 1 model. I moved the camera back to the middle area and strapped it there instead. I was able to burn a few batts earlier and was pleasantly surprised at how well everything performed.

Damn...too bad my typhoon H transmit its video also at 5.8 ghz but controller at 2.4 ghz.
I would love a drone direction camera like this.

I would love to install this on the H, so that I can avoid flying side way chasing a boat to video it , H can do 90 degrees gimbal spin.

I would fail if I were to fly side way :) , the moment the boat change course.

Hi Keith,

U know what.....thanks to you for reminding me about small sized FPV camera and I look around at various transmitters+receivers etc etc.

I then think why not I practice side way flying instead ...LOL , but with a cheap drone and if possible hard to damage drone.

So I just ordered on-line these two :

This one should live long... I hope so.

With these I dare to play inside my house and at my garage LOL.

I am having sad time not able to play my Solo, unless I drive somewhere quite far to be
away from people.

thanks again....

Thanks. Got that cute little drone already. Or close to it anyway. I believe it's the H107C I got a couple years ago. Still fly that sideways. But of course only in the house due to the wind. Lol. And you know another thing I thought about too? Is when I fly this Solo & all my other "flyn lawnmowers", is to be sure not to put anyone in danger.
