Hi all,

Before I begin troubleshooting to try and resolve a few issues I've been having with my solo, I'd like to create a copy of the current firmware. I'm hoping someone would be able to recommend the best/most common methodology to achieve that.

Thanks!

I'm not sure that you have to back up what you have.

You can restore settings using the SYSID_SW_MREV parameter
You can do a factory reset
You can restore SD card images from here: 3drobotics/open-source

The recovery tools are already available.

yep, best bet is if you want to be cautious just load up mission planner and save your parameters to a file. If something goes wrong load them back
