Flight battery led not working?

Battery led indicator lights won't illuminate while being charged or installed. My other battery indicated fine. Is there a known issue with these lights? New, out of the box, charging things up for the first time.

I had the same issue with a new battery that I purchased from Best Buy. The lights started to flickr and a couple of days later completely went out and would no longer power Solo. Best Buy replaced my battery. I agree with others who have said not to fly with that battery. Just too much to lose if it craps out in the air.
