Tower won't connect to Iris+ ... HELP!

Okay... I have an IRIS+... flies great, but I'm a newbie at it.

I have a Nexus tablet and the 3DR telemetry radio plugged in (correctly -- blue plug into bottom of tablet). Problem is, I tap Connect and nothing happens. The radio's LED flashes green with the occasional red blip. Iris is on and armed.

Please help! I've looked everywhere online and can find zero help with this. Does the controller have anything to do with this connection?

Have you tried to re-sync both telemetry from Mission Planner?

No problem should give the radio to connect to your tablet, this green forever?
First you turn on the RC, then Iris + and then your tablet, open Tower and connect, if there are any problems or connect with the tablet, you should try a cell.
