Lucky, nothing has changed with my order. I just called them and the lady said they haven't recived the solos with the pre installed gimbals yet, hopefully we get the new rev 2 ones.

Most likely not, but if you don't take heart
the second solo I got on the first wave of 599 deals was all rev A but performed fantastic out of the box.
I have since added the new shield

Two Solos:
Rev B Cardboard (w/ copper)
Rev A Shield

...and the clear winner is Rev B cardboard.

On the Rev A, I'm going for the M8N as discussed on the other thread...
