Most people seem to really like the Alfa. Keep in mind that the higher the gain of the antenna (range), the narrower the cone of coverage becomes. In other words, more gain, more need for you to keep the controller/antennae pointed directly at the Solo.

Did you do a level and compass calibration after going to a new locale?

This is not necessary and certainly not the cause.

Nonetheless, without logs, impossible to diagnose.

Tried this several times rebooted probably for five times and did calibration probably that many times to none of this seems to help seemed to help a little bit if I keep the drone flying low 10 feet it seems to not go is crazy controls are real jerky

Sorry you're still battling this, friend. Flight logs will help us figure out what is happening with your Solo's strange behavior.
