Solo App issue when using 2.7k 60fps with a GoPro Hero 4 Black

What settings does the hero4 silver need to be on to get video feed

Any setting should work? I don't have a silver, but it should be fully compatible. Other threads here mention there's now some issues with iOS 11, but even with that, you should still see a video feed before hitting record.
