Smart shoots after gimble install

Cant seem to trigger a smart shot sense install on the G4, did not try the Note 4 and I know smart shots worked with that.
So it could be gimbal or G4 app
Anyone had a problem triggering smart shots?
Hit the movie clapper, click selfie nothing click cable nothing

I couldn't trigger smart shots on my galaxy s5 yesterday, no problem on my tab s

forgot to mention I don't have a gimbal yet

Yeah I think it might be device related. maybe try reinstalling the app or go back to note 4
