Peau 8.25

Just installed a Peau 8.25mm. Much sharper than the 5.4mm. Will give it a go on the video side of things soon. I used a 5.4 at medium FOV a while back and I would expect the 8.25 at wide to be about the same. Moire effect will be an issue but this lens appears to be much better than the 5.4. The homes across the water are over 300 yards away.

This is without the pink edges profile removal though right? I still want to upgrade one of my camera's to a flatter profile lens but man, so much choice...

I have not removed the profile yet. I will in the next day or so.

So how does this compare to the 3.97 (which I thought was the lens of choice?).

I have a 3.34, 3.97. 5.4 and the 8.25. The 5.4 I think is crap. 3.34 and 3.97 are very good for video. I'm gonna see if I can get any good video out of the 8.25. I may not. However, as a still photo lens it looks like it has possibilities.

I have a 5.4mm and 4.35 which sdi you think id's better for aerial video with solo?

I'm not happy with the 5.4 for video or stills.
