Need help with maps.

I have successfully cached maps at home to my Nexus 7 using Mapbox. When I get ready to fly and tap on the first screen with the small window in the upper right called "Plan you flight" the map hybrid map loads fine and shows my location.

The problem is that once I move from that screen to the camera view and swipe the screen for a map view I cannot get a map view to load. Just a blank beige view with the location icon. Doesn't matter if it is full or 1/3 screen.

Does anyone have this working correctly? it is really the only issue I have with my three week old Solo. And yes everything is up to date uninstalled and reinstalled.

Any suggestions are welcome.

Solved:

It turns out that after I cache the maps using Mapbox, if I go back into settings and then change the option to Google that the maps then display correctly when I switch back to Fly or Smart shots.
