My first post here, I've had my solo for almost a month now and, like everyone else, am very keen to get my Gimbal. I called B & H today and was told my gimbal would likely arrive in mid-september, after I originally pre-ordered everything in the beginning of June.
The initial customer service agent at 3DR pretty much just said "sorry, it will arrive when it arrives" so I asked to speak with a manager and she informed me that all pre-orders that were placed prior to I think she said July 14th will be receiving a free battery along with the gimbal, to make up for the delay.
I was somewhat satisfied with this, but given that I've got a $1000 job lined up for next week that will probably fall through if I don't get the gimbal until mid sep, I'd still rather just have the gimbal. Still...coming from a DJI, this is much better customer service than what DJI offered, which was pretty much nothing ever.
