Howdy 3DR Pilots. it's been a while since I was here.. I used to fly 3DR Iris Plus, but crashed mine on a harbor-crane in Scheveningen. It blew to pieces.. Happily I could use the electronics for other projects, but for good or for worse, that was my Iris Plus. I really really loved this drone.
It's such a pity 3DR quit the production of this great design.
Well, just recently bought a Solo, and was full expectations about the bird. First flight I had a fly-away, which luckily did not result in an accident.. Failsafe kicked in and brought back my bird... Because of this first experience I am not too confident about the system. I want it all FrSky for longer range and way more secure.. At least that is how I feel about it. I have issues with the connection, it does NOT feel safe at all...
