[URGENT] need help for my X8+

Hi, I was thinking of install Walkera G - 3S gimbal to my X8+ quadcopter.

but the pixhawk doesn't really compatible with the gimbal.

the pitch control works but it doesn''t work well.

anyone know the reasons ?

probably not suited for that gimbal

It may just be a matter of "mapping" the Pixhawk pulse width on that channel to match what the gimbal controller uses for operational range. Through MP try setting the channel range to run between 1000 and 2000ms and see what happens. It could also be a PID issue where the gimbal settings need considerable adjustment.

In what manner does the pitch function work now? What does it do or not do, what kind of response?

Is it possible that its the 3.3V on the signal issue? Have you tried using a step up converter to change the 3.3V signal to a 5V signal. Having said that I'd have thought it wouldnt work at all if it was that issue.

When you say it doesnt work well can you provide some indication of what your occuring?
