Speeding up mission planner end turns

I create the mission on my computer in the office, load solo... then use MavLink on my ipad to run solo while in the field. Works and connects well, flys the mission well... but is really slow on turns, ends, next waypoint. It literally pauses and takes it's sweet time on the ends, it's like come on already. Guessing there is a setting for this but I have not idea what it is. How do I speed up my turn arounds on the end.

I assume you are using Mission Planner....

Do you ever use Splined WP? Rather than hit a WP and turn, it will just cross through the WP without slowing...

Also there is a Change Speed parameter, have you tried that.

Hello Barney, I have for adopted editing the WP file. I add a line to the 1st outbound WP and return to home using the change speed for a higher speed.

Any way to set Mission Planner to build with Splined Waypoints as the default? They work awesome... covered another 10 acres more with 15% battery left.
