Solo update will not transfer

so of course when you pack solo up and take it on holidays to Indonesia solo will not comply , I got up before sunrise this morning to fly with them mornjng light and film the volcano in Bali ...

Once I turned on solo I noticed my wifi network name had changed back to a default solo network name which was weird as I had not changed anything since last flight .. the controller now says preflight update required , so I go into the iOS app and it says new software 2.4.2 available , download “update” and go to transfer update via the solo wifi as normal (yes everything is powered on) and transfer fails every time ... I have done factory resets on everything reset my iOS device and still will not update ... please help !!!!

Sorry to say this but you might want to borrow an Android device to do the reset.
It does sound to me like the SD card came loose in the Controller or Solo during travel conditions.
This may or may not continue to be an issue.
