Poor UK 3DR Parts Support?

So I'm new to drones and therefore 3DR Solo.
it seems that that for us UK pilots; anything but the basics we need to get from the US?

I bought some new pods the other week; only available from the US. $50 post and package and I'll probably get hit by customs too. (Fantastic...)

Noob, so thought I'd get some prop guards too. Same story as above...

Am I missing the obvious here? If not, I might set myself up as a UK mail order distributor...

Update...
Ordered prop guards for $49
Delivery for 3-4 weeks was $14
So went for delivery 8-10 days for $39

Lack of UK spares sales may kill my solo hobby before it gets off the ground [ pun intended ]
