OK, so I used to use a GoPro 3 before Gimbal could get a live feed 10% of time.
Got my Gimbal :) now bought a GoPro 4 no live feed.
I tried:
Plug Unplug HDMI 2many times to count
Complete shut down of GoPro, Solo, and Controller.
App open and close (yes swipe up on iPhone 5s) many times.
Double check all the GoPro Settings per the help on the app, no help!

Ideas?
Thanks
BTW: Still captured great wedding flight, will post later!

I had great live feed before updating to 1.1.15 Now i have zero live feed. Its like watching scrambled porn. I guess its becoming hit or miss for guys and the devices we are using could be part of it. Hopefully all the bugs get worked out soon. We paid big bucks for this.

Change your resolution to 1080 @ 60fps and see it you get your video feed back...

Lots of people having this problem. Tech support told me to try this:
Everything turned off
Unplug HDMI cable from GoPro- plug it back in
Turn on solo
Turn on GoPro
Turn on controller
Start app
If still no signal:

Rub tummy 3 times
Hop up and down on right leg twice
Drop 2 "F" bombs

Mine worked fine for a short time. Started getting messages to update firmware. Instructions did not work so got tech assist from go pro to help do update. Still not working.
Are there problems with hdmi cables?

I'm hoping my issues go away when I get my gimbal...
I still believe in Santa Clause and the Easter Bunny :)

Just got my gimbal today and didn't have issues before, but now I'm not getting video. Dang it!

Cancel that. I assumed the gimbal was powering the camera up and it wasn't. I do have video once I powered up the GoPro. Woops...
So much for being a video professional :)
The gimbal is acting a bit wonky, going a bit sideways. I got it all together after dark, so hopefully will get a chance to do a test flight tomorrow.

I got to a point that I could see the video but no red button to start recording.
Tech asst had me go to settings and turn on "save videos to camera roll".
They then told me that I would use the camera angle to start and stop recording which made no sense to me.
I started up to try it and the red button appeared and worked. It seems that turning on the record to camera roll made it work with the red record button.
Go figure

It saves it on both the GoPro and the phone/tablet, at 720 max on the phone/table and what ever you have it set for the GoPro. I don't understand how the camera angle thing works. And have not tested the auto record for the seen mode yet. Anybody use it?

You don't use the tilt paddle up and down motion to start and stop video you push on it and it will start and stop video.

I've had video feed issues myself....first make sure you are using 1080 60...and NTSC not PAL. Then update your hero 4 with the latest software...even if you did it before......update it again (you'll have to manually do it per the instructions on the gopro site, because it's going to tell you that your gopro is already up to date). Also I turn everything else on first, solo, transmitter, mini ipad app. etc. and the last thing i do is turn on the gopro....try all that you'll probably get video feed:)
