Low Battery RTL in Manual?

So I was flying in MANUAL very slowly and carefully in a wooded area with tall trees overhanging everywhere, when I got a low battery warning, and RTL was initiated . Well...the solo begins to rapidly ascend and almost crashed in to the trees above...I was able to switch back to MANUAL in time to save it. Can I turn off the "auto RTL on low battery" function...maybe a parameter setting? I'm not sure I want to turn it off, but if it's possible, I may consider it.

Yes you can. You turn off parameter FS_BATT_ENABLE by setting it for 0. I would suggest promptly turning it back on after you are done with what you're doing.

Thanks for that. I was looking at a complete list of parameters on the Ardupilot website and didn't see this parameter...do you know why none of the 'FS_' parameters are not in that list?
