Has anyone brought their Solo on a plane with the original box?

Hey guys!
I'm flying out today to Florida and I really want to know if anyone had any issues bringing their 3DR solo with the original box(case) on an airplane. We are flying with American Airlines and I do not want the drone to get rejected.

I just got this drone and I was going to fly it in FL, I have watched many videos and familiarized myself with the requirements. Unfortunately on the AA website, Drone cases should be less than 22 x 14 x 9 inches / 56 x 36 x 23 centimeters. Can someone tell me the dimensions of the original case?

Yep!

Took mine from Las Vegas to Vancouver then Vancouver to Los Angeles to Australia.

Went in overhead each time, only had to take it out of the box once during customs at LAX to show them the battery and which took an extra minute or two.

Do you mean the backpack or the black cardboard thing it comes in without the backpack? Both should fit in an overhead bin just fine.
