To resolve potential loss of GPS Signal, I have very precisely machined a piece of card stock that you should install between the GPS Copper Shield and the GPS Board. It will prevent stray voltage from traveling from the on board lithium battery to the GPS main chip and other parts of the board.
FWIW - I have not experienced any major GPS issues with my drone. However, the latency issues on GPS Start Up have vanished. I can also see that my GPS lock numbers are indicating a bit higher. This is a very easy install.. You can definitely make the card yourself, but, if you're like me and want it very precise and don't have the time to make it yourself, please consider my $5 fix. More details on eBay. I've also embedded a YouTube video of the installation.. Go to 3:10 on the video for the GPS fix/mod.. The video is an 'Advanced Install Method' of the Gimbal and a few 'Anti-Vibration' modifications and it also contains the GPS modification.
Thanks
