Gimbals are shipping

After talking to B&H I did decide to return my un opened Solo because of constant delay on the gimbal. So this past weekend I got an email from RPP Hobby and they were running a 15% off all orders discount and they had a Phantom 3 Pro so I pulled the trigger on it and paid $1070 for it out the door and shipped 2 day service.
I just started flying it and I must say I am quite pleased with it so far. Everything just works.
If I start seeing some really clean / stable video coming off the Solo when the Gimbal does finally ship I may give it another look but for now the P3P for what I paid was an easy decision and I also sold my GoPro 4 Black Edition for what I paid for it.
Basically the whole Solo setup was costing me $1800 all in, I asked myself is the Solo $800 better than the Phantom P3P??? Maybe it will be in the future but as of today the answer is no.

Saw the official mass production statement and 3DR has placed a pre-auth hold of funds for my Gimbal order

but have not yet received any shipping notification email yet.

There have been a few on this forum that have posted the tracking #'s. Most will be arriving Monday or Tuesday
