Gimbal tilt problems

Using completely stock app and settings just got this drone for Christmas. Using a GoPro Black4 gimbal works and the light is green but the tilt function doesn't do anything and the controller says gimbal not found. I'm out of ideas I thought about downloading open solo but I'm not sure if that would fix the station to begin with. Any help is appreciated.

Have you tried a stick calibration? or a parameter reset in mission planner?

Have tried stick calibration and factory reset / reupdate. Haven't tried anything with mission planner

Search on how to reset params in mission planner, its easy it may work, after resetting the params you will have to do the level and mag calibrations afterwards and set all the sliders in the solo app...
