My preset angle switch is not moving the angle is there a trick or step I am missing. When i move the switch the gimble never moves. The left switch works fine.

Did you preset your 2 little dots with the right top button and bottom button for the sweep by holding it in for a few seconds ..and you can set the speed by spinning the wheel that's in between the 2 buttons..

I had the same problem after establishing my presets. It seemed to me that the "A" and "B" buttons were kind of sensitive to where you pressed them. Pressing the center of the buttons didn't seem to work, but pressing them on the ends worked fine. Now, after using them for awhile, they work no matter where I press them. It seems to take a bit of time for the command to actually activate the gimbal, but it does what I ask it to do. I don't know if this is normal, but it is what I experienced. I wish you luck.

I too had issues with the preset buttons. 3DR had me do a stick cal but it obviously didn't do anything. They ended up RMA'ing my gimbal for that and a level issue. This all may be fixed in the October update but we will have to wait and see.

Sorry about the RMA. It seems some gimbals have issues, and others are fine right out of the box. Part of the growing pains with new technology, I guess. I wish you luck.

3DR has been great. New gimbal will be here Monday. 1 week turn around.

I was just watching my son so I'm not sure what he did but moving the right preset knob didn't move anything. Is the procedure in the manual? I've got the manual in front of me I guess I could look, duh?

Or not. I didn't find anything helpful in the manual. Where could I find info on how to set up and use the gimbal preset angles?

Nothing in the "manual". The paddle on the left top of the controller manually moves the gimbal up and down. The further you move it, the faster the gimbal moves.
On the right top, the dial sets the speed the gimbal moves when using the presets. They are factory preset at 90 & 45 deg. Pressing the respective preset button should cause the gimbal to move to that angle. My buttons have been finicky to say the least. One quick press "should" work. Sometimes mine needed a double- click.

To set to another angle, move to desired angle with left paddle.
Press and hold preset 1 or 2 for a couple seconds to set- you should hear a beep and see a message on the controller screen.

I recommend you place solo on a level table in your house. Turn solo and the controller on and play with the controls while watching the gimbal so you know what to expect. A movement speed of 10 seconds (set with the right wheel) seems to work well while filming.

I've found that the gimbal angle preset button works fine sitting on a table or when hovering and not using the sticks, but as soon as I start using the sticks then try to used the gimbal angle presets, they do nothing. Any ideas?
