Gimbal Breathing Red

Connected a different gimbal last night and it decided to start breathing red.

Manual states:

Breathing red: the gimbal is in a temporary fault mode. Restart the gimbal, and if the issue persists, please contact customer support.


Well I restarted the gimbal and it's still breathing red, then did it again and you guessed it, it's breathing red.

Any ideas?

Check your data cable connection, loose pins or properly seated connector. Did your previous gimbal work prior to this install?

@RichWest My previous gimbal works fine. When you start up Solo it goes green while trying to initialize. You can tell it has a go at levelling then one of the motors starts to twitch, then it goes into breathing red. I removed the gimbal covers and nothing is stuck it just doesn't want to work.

I got nothing...other than it sounds like a gross imbalance or a failing gimbal motor.

No changes to balance. New gimbal and stock G4B. It's looking like a failed gimbal motor.
