Hi, thanks in advance if you can help!

I have just got my 3DR Solo back from my business where it has been used briefly and really well looked after. I have had to do a factory reset as the passwords to the wifi were unknown.

I have the unit paired to the controller and have used my iPhone to connect to the controllers wifi - I get the tick on my phone to confirm the connection but the App homepage still says CONNECT - when I hit the CONNECT button on the App it popups up a screen telling me to connect to wifi - even though it is already connected.

The control display says it needs to do a PreFlight Update but I can't get that to happen as (I think) the unit does not see it is connected.


Am I being really thick??

Go into your wifi settings and choose something similar to "forget network" for the sololink. Then try connecting again.

Your phone was remembering the old settings for that network connection, before they changed the password and stuff. After you do a reset, it's also best to forget the old connection. Glad it worked.
