I found these guys in France offering a dream combo solo and sony camera, also list a number of mapping software companies that are new to me, might ask them if they will convert a drone for me to sony camera.
What I am looking for is a thermal camera and mapping together, most thermal camera setups seem to only do video capture not mappoing.

that servo-controlled gimbal looks old school but certainly worth a look...I want one.

still for mapping its all you need, the 20 mb resolution is going to be a huge improvement on gopro.
But of course for same money you could buy a Phantom 4 Pro, with 20 mb camera
