It looks nothing like what they were shopping around 18 months ago. Perhaps they've changed direction, perhaps this is a personal filing, and/or perhaps it's a red herring. GoPro has done the red herring thing before (as have most CES companies).

Look here between 00:19 and 00:25. This is it.

Gimbal mounted kinda high towards the front of the props. Seems cool but I am sure most of the features will be in software/better GoPro integration. Less square prop shape, more of a rectangle to keep them out of the shot. It'll be interesting to see how it does in wind and the final form factor.

If they do build it, let's hope they do a better job with that software than the software in both GoPro Studio and the GoPro itself. With all the basic problems I've witnessed, I wouldn't trust them to write a pop-up dialog in a child's drawing app.
