Chapel Hill Carrboro FPV

I am Brian head of the ChapelHill Carrboro FPV group for the last 3 years. Builder of drones be they small Quadcopter racers or full blown Drones. Just happened by the app for this forum and as I am worried about 3dr/DJI thing thought it would be nice to check with everyone here.
It was truly a sad day when DJI bought out 3dr but, I want to know what DJI plans to do here.
