update here...my parts (#2) Solo is now flying normal using rev b gps and stock compass.and my number one Solo is in the air with the HERE gps and no stock leg compass but flying like a drunk on only fly manual and though it shows 14 sats,it said lost gps signal in an area i fly all the time.not sure why at this point ...suspecting the compass still...any thoughts?

There is no reason to do that. In fact, don't do that.

not cell service issue that I am sure.

I only said that because, I had the same problem and the tech at 3DR had me turn it off and it fixed it ( iphone 5s) he told me that sometimes the phone will want to use cell instead of wi fi if it can. Just to clarify this was for the "can not connect issue not the compass.
