On page 2 of this thread, I posted a couple of images of golden yellow canola fields, these fields have now been windrowed, the seed sits on top of the rows to dry out, I went out this morning and got a few shots.

A couple of shots out of the 3Dr Solo with Nikon J3 10mm f.28 lens fitted. Early morning at a place on the NSW South Coast of Australia called "crookhaven heads" about 30 min from the major town of Nowra.

Canola fields? I thought Canola is a brand or trademark name. Could they be Rapeseed fields?

They look similar but are genetically different, I believe canola was developed fro rapeseed in the 70s. There are different types of canola blends in Australia now.

It does look good from the air ?

tested a manual mapping, the file is to large to add here, but can be seen >HERE<
automated mapping through MissionPlaner is in list this summer

this is my play yard, waiting for spring to arrive, then will be different ones (bored of construction site)

Yesterday went out to shoot colleagues (that one who solders and prints for my 3DR) countryside properties.
Great weather, 14 degrees, almost no wind, was pleasure to fly.
Only thing, with one battery, hard to do, but we get a 150W car inverter, so we managed not to get short when driving from one spot to other.
