GoPro Hero 3+ Does not connect to the Solex App in live view.

I bought a 3DR Solo Drone today and installed & Paid for the Solex App. The Vehicle connects but i do not see a live camera stream view. I have tried varios options. Such as Restarting the app, Adding the Wifi Link & even going on the gopro camera settings and seeing if its that. No luck. Can someone please help me figure this out? What am i doing wrong?

Couple suggestions - I had a similar issue with a Hero 3, updating (flashing) it with the now unsupported firmware "fixed" it.
Also, there have been numerous issues regarding the HDMI cable - they fail.

If you can scrounge up an HDMI cable with the appropriate connectors, try going from the camera
to an HDMI capable display, or a TV. This will eliminate or ID the camera as the culprit.

I got it to work without the gimbal. The gimbal was the issue

I got it to work without the gimbal. The gimbal was the issue. I used the HDMI cable directly and it functions. Now I'm trying to figure out how to attach the go pro without the gimbal.

Outstanding! Glad you're making progress! Keep us posted.

If not aware, do not run the gimbal with no camera. Doing so will eventually burn out a motor...

There is a static mount for a GoPro and Solo. These are around, and have seen them on Ebay. It
snaps right into the gimbal bay.

Ok Jerry - is your Solo disassembled in any way? There really is nothing to do and if it boots up
you should be good. What still needs work? In case you have not, everything you need to know is
in the attached manual...GL!
