Winter flying issues

Hi Everyone,

I got a new solo and took it out in -5C. Mid flight the controller said waiting for solo but I could still control it with the controller. At the same time the app also crashed. Any ideas what caused this?

I got a new solo and took it out in -5C. Mid flight the controller said waiting for solo but I could still control it with the controller. At the same time the app also crashed. Any ideas what caused this?

Temperature didn't have anything to do with it. Mine has done that in San Diego. Wish I could tell you why. It makes your heart skip until you realize you can still control it-and bring it home immediately.
