Ultimate or Ultra or Deluxe. Which would you suggest?
They just released PowerDirector 14. For general video editing nothing over the top, Ultimate is great.

For some reason I can not import from my hero 4 silver.
Ill try that. Do you have to convert the files before importing into pd 14?
Nope it's so much quicker and once you figure it out easier too really.Ill try that. Do you have to convert the files before importing into pd 14?
and the reason VHS took over was not that it was widespread or better but it WAS CHEAPER.
THEN it got widespread. cheap things tend to do that if they work.

you realize, of course, that Sony invented VHS and sold it to Philips right? Not quite...Sony refused then, to license replicators to replicate pornography on Beta. VHS camps (philips) had no such ethical issues. The same issue surfaced between blu-ray and HD-DVD. My company was smack in the middle of that one. Sony was approached by Vivid's replicator, and later by AVN, and they agreed to not take a stand on the issue this time around. Voila, HD-DVD died a quick death once that happened, but for 18 months, it was a tight race. Of course, Apple wouldn't support BD no matter what, but they *were* supporting HD-DVD (Toshiba) as it would have given Apple an edge that didn't require licensing.
