Why A Nexus 7 wont control Gopro Hero 4 silver?

Why cant I control my gopro hero 4 silver from a nexus 7? (Through the solo app)

It maybe time for you to upgrade to Solex?
I like the app and the author is incredibly quick at responding to any issues you may run into.

FYI...I am running Solex with open Solo that was updated through the Solex app.
I am also using a GoPro Hero 4 Silver with update V5 on my Solo and it works fine with Solex.
