Well, I finally gave in. Called 3DR this evening and asked if they had an update on shipping on my order that was placed May7th. They didn't (had told me last week it would ship on the 18th) so I had them cancel the Solo and just keep the Gimbal on back order. Went to the BB site and ordered the Solo, with a delivery date of this Thursday. BUT, they couldn't ship the free battery with it. They wanted me to drive 110mi to get the battery from the nearest store with stock. I called and they said that was the only way they could do it. They even got the supervisor on the line and she couldn't see a way to do it either. So I told them I would just keep checking stock and when a closer store had stock, I would take my receipt in and have the mgr do an over ride. But at least I'll finally have the Solo....
