Video does not save to GoPro - only saves on iPad/iphone

Ordered another HDMI cable and got it today. Previously I ordered an HDMI to HDMI mini....
Should have been a micro instead, but have it now. Want to see if I get video to my Black Pearl monitor with the cable plugged into the Tx while flying a Tower mission.....

New to this forum.

My setup was Solo with 3D Gimbal and Hero 4+ Black. It did not save video file in GP 4+ at first, but after I upgraded the firmware it worked well.
