Used plastic instead of cardboard will it be ok?

Did the mRo gps mod and used an old store card to separate the copper from the gps instead of cardboard, do you think that will be ok?

Yet to test it out as off to birthday party now.

As long as there isn't a chip or magnetic strip on it I'm guessing it should be OK.

Yes, use the spacer if you are using the original copper shielding. Always a good idea to have an air gap between the shielding and the GPS electronics.

Do I need to put a stop gap between the board and plastic? Or I can just screw ithe plastic and put the copper shield on top of the plastic?

Another thing, what is that silver square part on the 3dr board and not on the mRo board ?
