It's supposed to give your Solo a smoother ride, therefore in some cases it helps reduce the jittery video some people may get.

Nice video. I use the DuBro balancer also but I sand my props instead of using tape.

No way man! I make them from the finest MDF board I can get from the dumpster behind Big Lots.

That really depends if you like your videos now, then don't do anything. ie. "If it's not broke don't fix it".
