Sydney Australia - 3DR Solo

Greetings.

I just received a 3DR solo in the mail from placing 2nd in the Dronestagram photo competition.
Thank you very much 3DR!
I'm looking forwards to getting her in the air and making the most out of the awesome prize.
First thing I notice is the great build quality of everything inside the backpack.
Mostly I will be shooting stills, but going to try and make them as epic as possible.
No doubt there is much information on the forum so I am here to learn and where possible pass on what I know.

I powered her up last night. Looks pretty similar to my P3 for controlling so hopefully I don't have too much learning to get up the curve with. I love the fact that the Solo has a payload capability. I've been taking my camera and gimaball off from time to time on the P3 to achieve something similar and trust me, it does not always go smoothly!
