Installed Open Solo 4.0 on Stock Solo - question about Gimbal

Hi,

Thanks to this great forum, I was able to install Open Solo 4.0 on a stock solo (that wouldn't get past the 'preflight update'). Using Solex, I installed Open Solo 4.0 on a Copter with no Gimbal (just a GoPro frame). I do have a Gimbal on another bricked Solo and I want to install this on the working Solo.

Question : Since I installed Open Solo 4.0 on a copter with no Gimbal, does installing a Gimbal post-install cause any issues? In terms of firmware, will Open Solo accept a Gimbal post-install and work fine?

Just wondering before I go ahead and install the Gimbal. Thank you.

Just wanted to update, that I went ahead and replaced the fixed GoPro mount with the gimbal from the bricked solo - all is well and I flew the Solo on Open Solo 4.0. Very happy that I get to read lots of useful information on this forum. Thanks.

Can you controll gimbal with controller (radio)?
