Yes just ordered the P3 kit for the Solo. Same antenna, same cables. Only thing you might need to do is work on the mount a little as the metal bracket was designed for P3.

Tony FPVLR has quality antennas but I don't like the mess hanging off the front of controller. I want a nice mount and compact antenna.

The fpv does have a plate screwed onto it with velcrow and looks like it's supposed to be there now I tried to post a pic when I mentioned it yesterday but iPad doesn't want to maybe it's too big. I think I saw you discussing this with tony so you know I'm sure. I colored my rim 3dr green and really like how it looks now but have to say that patch does look very good as well if it performs better I guess I'll have 2 since I have no real intention to use those little stock ones unless I'm testing difference I won't include them, some had luck with them, not me honestly. They are easy to bump and I end up adjusting them, I'd rather have a stationary setup like either of these upgrades, with the stocks down you have to adjust just to set down or pick up your controller, this was the only part I'm not a fan of on solo.

Well actually I also don't think the shiny plastic was a great idea especially on controller and battery of all places, I've never had any luck with that plastic staying looking good but that's just nit picking.

Yea I am not a fan the shiny plastic either. Looks like a million bucks when clean and has no fingerprints but that is going to be rare.

Honestly, I doubt you are going to get a review from me regarding the Solo/DBS setup as I think there is irreconcilable differences between 3DR and myself and the end is near.

No problem understood and agreed on shiny plastic looks great initially but is rare.

I'm eventually going to try different WiFi cards. Since they are standard mini PCie with an Atheros chipset an upgrade to higher power cards should be possible. I need to continue looking through it all though.

This is somewhat being discussed on the Solo mods group.
