I live in an area crowded with WiFi networks. Accordingly, when I took off from my roof top for the first time I couldn't get further than 500' before I got the RTH signal. Today, when I took the Solo out where there were no WiFi signals, it went 2,000' before I chickened out and brought it back. All with stock antennas. WOW! Although not surprising based on what I read on this forum.

Second item is that I live on San Francisco Bay in a floating home. The first time I took off from my roof 6 sea gulls attacked the Solo at 75'. I had to bring it down and wait for them to leave. It has since happened again. What a hoot. I will have to do a wild life check before taking off in the future.

I was at a car event on Treasure Island and a Inspire 1 was getting dive-bombed by multiple seagulls, they don't like to share the sky. Cool to watch but also nerve-wrecking with the Inspire taking some pretty significant evasive actions right over cars worth 7 figures.
