I need a replacement GoPro cable for a Solo. What is the source and availability?

The cable that plugs into the go pro for live view. No gimbal on this one.

Parts are largely available by purchase of an additional Solo. However... how do you know you need another cable, unless the existing cable is obviously physically destroyed.

That would be the HDMI cable. Try eBay or a Google search. There are several places selling alternatives, mostly ribbon cables. Getting a stock cable will be difficult.

Thats too bad. I was hoping the Solo would have easy to access spare parts. I purchased a mess of X-8, IRIS+ parts last winter when they where on sale on the 3DR website. I was hoping the Solo would have the same easy supply chain.

Supply chain? As far as 3DR is concerned, you''re looking at the last link in the chain. Aftermarket products are available for some parts.
