Solo props almost certainly need balancing

I just got mine today. I'm a little disappointed.

Unfortunately it was missing 1 of the 4 nuts used on the base, and it had 1 extra nut that is used to secure the legs to the upper section.

The two set of nuts look similar, but are different sizes. Obviously someone just threw them in the bag and didn't bother to double check the sizes.

Bummer. I thought I was paying extra for quality.

I just found that all 6 of my props aren't balanced. Any recommendation on what grit sandpaper to use and method for an even sand? I imagine the lightest but just wanted some feedback. Also, to avoid manipulating the airfoil design do you sand in one direction from center to tip?

(answer: 80 to 150 grit or finer)

see instructions for how/where to sand

I should add that these instructions are for a fixed wing prop, but I see no reason why they aren't completely valid for a quadcopter.
