    I'm not up to date on boat mode. I would suggest posting in the boat mode thread to see what people say. As of last summer you couldn't initialize the Solo, so it wasn't even possible to take off by disabling prearm checks. I would not be surprised if someone has added boatmode by now because 3DR was close before they stopped Solo development.

    Hey Eric. I love your posts about videography. Noob question. Where do you find your GoPro settings such as protune and the ISO? Also what is a good way to learn software like final cut or Premeir pro?

    For the GoPro the easiest thing is to click the button on the side while your in video mode. Then toggle through the settings. But you can also use the GoPro app on your iPhone (which you can also use to update your GoPro firmware). Just make sure to disable wifi on the GoPro before you fly (it will cause interference). I suggest downloading the latest manual from GoPro's website.

    For Final Cut or Premiere, I'd recommend checking out Lary Jordan's website. Also, search YouTube for a ton of free content (though that can be hit or miss).

    Eric, Could you tell me how you linked tower app separately ie, running 2 devices? On 1 tablet I link to the solo app. and I've another tablet with tower however is fails to find any device

    I haven't done it in a long time. Not sure it's still possible with the latest software updates. If I were trying to do it today, first step would be to make sure I can connect each seperately. Then try one at a time. Be careful though. Not sure it's supported anymore.
